Cadence and Hello World Epic Analyst at Methodist Health System Dallas, TX

Salary: $119,000 - 159,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related field is preferred. 1-4 years of experience in healthcare IT is required. Epic certification with at least one year of experience working with Ambulatory is highly preferred. Functional knowledge of EHR software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent customer service skills demonstrated. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical coding and terminology is advantageous. Capability to collaborate effectively across various application teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience as an Epic analyst is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best patient care. Support the functionality of Cadence modules for outpatient community offices. Maintain knowledge of Epic Cadence and Hello World application build and system maintenance. Plan, design, implement, and support Cadence and Referrals applications. Communicate effectively with project leaders, analysts, and clinical staff to gather system requirements. Develop design specifications and implement new software functionalities. Mentor team members and inform leadership of operational events. Keep detailed documentation of assigned applications up to date. Test new software releases and ensure smooth version upgrades. Manage help desk inquiries and serve as a point of contact for user support. Actively participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
