This is what you will do
As an Air Export Agent, you will manage day-to-day outgoing air freight forwarding shipments based on customer requirements. You will work closely with clients, airlines, ground handlers, and overseas AIT offices to ensure seamless export logistics. Guided by an energetic team Supervisor (Mike), you will take ownership of shipments from initial quotation to final destination delivery.
End-to-End Export Coordination: Organize and execute international air freight export movements in compliance with customer requirements and company SOPs.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a reliable contact point for clients, providing proactive updates on shipment schedules, departures, and flight confirmations.
System Entry & Documentation: Prepare and verify critical export documentation (Air Waybills, commercial invoices, export customs declarations) and maintain accurate data in CargoWise.
Carrier & Pricing Collaboration: Coordinate with airlines and transport partners to secure cargo space, optimize routing, and prepare profitable quotations.
Financial Dossier Closure: Manage shipment billing, verify vendor invoices, ensure margin accuracy, and finalize dossier files on time.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory agency requirements, including TSA/VGB aviation security and Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Air Freight Export operations.
Security Screening (VGB): Must hold or be eligible to clear a Dutch VGB (Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar) security background check (mandatory).
Systems: Experience with CargoWise is strongly preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Dutch is a strong advantage.
Competencies: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, proactive problem solver, and a collaborative team mindset.

Compensation: Competitive gross monthly salary ranging from €2,800 to €3,500+ (commensurate with experience).
