Have you always wanted to know how an industrial company’s products are made, and are you looking for an apprenticeship where you won’t just be watching but will be able to pitch in right from the start? Then Habasit is the perfect place for you.
During the introductory metalworking training at our partner’s facility in Langen, you’ll lay the foundation for a successful apprenticeship. There, you’ll learn the most important basic technical skills you’ll need for your future work on the machines and equipment at our company.
During your hands-on assignments in our manufacturing departments, you’ll learn how to set up, operate, and monitor modern machinery. You’ll also document the completed machining steps on a computer. Your work helps create our drive, conveyor, and process belts.
In addition, you’ll inspect the finished products for quality. You’ll learn what true craftsmanship is all about.
Together with the other apprentices, you’ll have the opportunity to take on and drive projects independently. To make sure there’s plenty of fun, apprentice events are part of the program.

By the time your apprenticeship begins, you will have graduated from Hauptschule with at least a “good” grade.
You’ve always enjoyed math and science.
You have technical understanding and manual dexterity, and you work carefully and precisely.
You are known for your sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, and flexibility.

A varied apprenticeship program in a growing, internationally oriented corporate group with good chances of being hired after completing your apprenticeship.
An optimal blend of theory and practice: For the theoretical portion, you’ll attend the Eramus-Kittler School in Darmstadt. We’ll provide you with your own laptop for use at school and at work.
Through intensive onboarding and training sessions with the other apprentices, you’ll quickly get to know our company. Your mentor is available to answer your questions at any time. The training team and training coordinators are also there to help you with any questions you may have.
In addition to an attractive apprenticeship stipend, you’ll receive vacation pay and a Christmas bonus, other bonus payments, supplemental health insurance, and much more. We’ll cover the costs of textbooks and other training-related materials for you.
