Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

As the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor, you will plan, design, and implement maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment. You will develop the maintenance team, resolve operational challenges, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications
• Perform engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts
• Liaising with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Focus on how to implement management decisions through the work of staff
• Carry out policies and procedures passed down by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of maintenance experience
• Supervisory, and team-development skills highly desired
• Experience planning and managing maintenance schedules for complex systems
• Experience with ControlLogix and Allen Bradley ladder logic
