Senior Manager of Publications leading immunology teams at a pharmaceutical company to execute publication strategies for clinical manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations. This role manages staff, oversees external medical writers and vendors, and ensures alignment between publication plans and scientific communication objectives.
Lead publication manager teams and oversee execution of clinical manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations
Drive tactical execution of publication plans within timelines and budgets for assigned assets
Provide managerial oversight to internal and external medical writers and vendors
Partner with Scientific Communications and Publications Directors to align strategic and tactical plans
Manage staff performance assessment, training, hiring, and talent retention

Bachelor's degree minimum; PhD, PharmD, or Master's preferred
4–5 years of medical or scientific publications experience
Pharmaceutical industry or medical communications agency background required
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Knowledge of clinical publication structure, regulations, and best practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills with senior-level presentation ability
Working knowledge of statistical concepts and data interpretation
