We're currently looking for a to join our Manufacturing team at our Kettering site. This is a key operational role responsible for overseeing the sterilisation process, ensuring product quality and food safety standards are maintained whilst supporting the efficient running of the production process.
As a Steriliser Operator, you'll play an important role in controlling product flow to the filling lines, managing allergen and non-allergen changeovers, monitoring production processes and ensuring accurate production records are maintained at all times.
Operate and oversee the sterilisation process safely and effectively.
Ensure the timely supply of formulated product to filling machines.
Control formulation and product changeovers between allergen and non-allergen products.
Monitor batches in line with production schedules and planning requirements.
Maintain food safety, quality and hygiene standards.
Record production data and process information accurately.
Monitor equipment performance and escalate issues where required.
Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to achieve business objectives.

We're looking for a proactive and reliable individual who can work independently while remaining a strong team player in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will have excellent communication skills, a strong focus on safety and quality, and the ability to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
Understanding of food hygiene and allergen management.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Knowledge of CIP (Clean In Place) processes.
Experience operating process or production equipment.
