We are looking for Engineer Technical Purchase at Endress+Hauser Flowtec India atChhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, LocationWhat is the role about?This job posting is for a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with a background focused on machinebuilding and its related parts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inProcurement, along with proficiency in SAP MM and strong communication skills.Key Responsibilities:1. Assisting in sourcing markets surveillance and scouting for process plant construction2. Responsible for on-time deliveries at the right quality3. Perform the Procurement Exercises for different Parts4. Responsible for supplier rating and relationship management5. Responsible for Maintaining QMS DocumentationSupplier Management:Following up with suppliers for machine building and its components.SAP Proficiency:Maintaining material masters, info records, and vendor master’s within the SAP MM module.Procurement Process:Releasing purchase orders. Monitoring of on time Material Receipts and Vendor PaymentsVendor Records:Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor records. Ensure Legal and Statutory Compliances2/2Commodity Focus:1. Pipe manufacturing, welding, machining, fabrication, forging, press parts, plates2. Electrical panels manufacturing, Electrical and electronic components3. Catalogue items like pumps, tools, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic4. Surface Treatment works, blasting, paintingDrawing Interpretation:Understanding engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning andTolerancing).Teamwork and Initiative:Working as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation.Awareness of Environment, Health, Safety and Energy requirements as IMS standardsRequired Qualifications:1. Education: Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.2. Experience: 4 to 12 years of experience in engineering purchases.3. Travel: Willingness to travel within India4. Industry Experience: Experience working in an engineering company or with projectequipment.5. Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM module, MS applications, and knowledge of engineeringmaterials.6. Familiar with ERP, preferably SAP to maintain purchasing data such as vendor records7. Communication: Communication skills necessary to interact in an international context8. Self-motivated and can work on own initiative and as part of a cross-functional teamGood to Have:1. Diploma/Graduate/MBA in Materials Management,2. Basic German language knowledge,3. Integrated Management System Auditor certification4. Experience using the Jaggaer supplier platform.
