With time and with this opportunity at Lely I grew into having both sides of the world. The deep level into the electronics but also the higher level system integration. Not only the technical things, but also the diversity of people that you work with in this company is something I really enjoy.
The work is really nice, it's challenging, it is motivating. But also innovative. The work environment is also good. From day one, you feel welcome and the colleagues always have time to help you, to assist you. If you enjoy robotics, this is the place to be.
Our main clients are cows and they don't read manuals. We anticipate any crazy situations. We need lots of imagination and that makes it really fun. What I do for the robot that is directly related to life quality of cows. By making sure that the robot is operational constantly the cows will get a clean barn and a clean floor.
