Procurement Manager leads Procurement activities of the country for Paints and Coatings organization through team of Procurement Specialist; executes the sourcing strategy at local level and is the interface with local business , suppliers and sites.
Part of Regional Procurement Management team
Face of the organization for local suppliers
Effective execution of TCO & Supplier collaboration projects
Key procurement interface with BU local / regional stakeholders and act as first escalation interface to handle local issue.
Key participant in the IBP Process of the region
Drives local change management and continuous improvements projects to improve suppliers’ QDCIS performances.
Manages local, plant specific suppliers.
Strategies, Negotiation for the respective region.

Tail send Management (Negotiations and operationalization)
Supplier Collaboration projects in Tail spend
IBP Process integration between vendors and AkzoNobel
Ensure that the suppliers selected in sourcing strategies are used locally at the best commercial condition.
Reach out to the sourcing organization, ensure prices are timely updated, secure delivery when supply market is tight
Balance local requirements versus AkzoNobel sourcing strategy: optimize stock level, lead time, provide forecast if material is very tight,…
Bachelor Degree required (Additional degree in Materials & Purchasing Management, International trade is preferred)
Must have worked as People Manager
Successful, multi-year track record in Procurement and Supplier Management

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Local language and good command of English

Able to work in a dual reporting matrix
Able to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders

Bachelor Degree required (Additional degree in Materials & Purchasing Management, International trade is preferred)
