As a, you’re a member of a production crew, reporting to a supervisor of an assigned production area. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
Candidate must be able to accommodate a rotating swing shift schedule. Our crews work 12.25 hour days; 3 days on/3 days off; rotates days to nights every nine weeks. Can line starts at 5:45 AM/PM and ends at 6:00 PM/AM.
Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.

Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.

Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.

Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

High School Diploma or equivalent education.

1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

2 years’ work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to

Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

Starting Hourly Rate: $32.40 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
Daily OT after 8 hours

Onsite Work Environment: This position is based in and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
