Warehouse Inbound Manager

Our client is a leading warehousing and distribution business undertaking a strategic expansion of its logistics infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a high-profile warehouse expansion project that will play a critical role in supporting the company's future growth and operational capacity.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Inbound Manager to lead our Receiving, Credit & Returns, Administration, and housekeeping functions. This is a hands-on role for a warehouse professional who thrives on operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and team leadership. The role is located in Johannesburg.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving and inbound warehouse operations.

• Ensure stock is accurately received, checked, labelled, and processed.

• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes, and variance investigations.

• Oversee Credit & Returns processes and warehouse documentation.

• Maintain high housekeeping, storage, and safety standards.

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams while managing performance and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, SOPs, and OHSA requirements.

• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification.

• 5+ years' warehouse experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong experience in receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

• Proven team leadership experience in a busy warehouse environment.

• Experience with stock takes, cycle counting, and inventory management.

• Knowledge of ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Strong reporting, administration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Good understanding of warehouse safety and OHSA requirements.
