For a financial institution I’m searching for an interim Senior Reporting Specialist with solid knowledge of IFRS at large international corporations and ideally with a Register Accountant (RA) or Register Controller (RC) title.
My client is currently going through a transition whereby the process of external IFRS reporting is being transferred to the Netherlands. This process is currently handled by a team in the UK and will be migrated to the Netherlands. The reporting and consolidation system is being reconfigured, and the current consultant supporting the team cannot stay past December 31st, 2024. Therefore, additional capacity is needed to handle the increased workload.
The primary goal of this assignment is to build dummy financial statements in the annual report application, working closely with the team in the UK. The deliverable is a dummy report ready for review by the external auditor in November 2024, with finalization in Q1 2025 for signing off.

• Build dummy financial statements in the annual report application.
• Collaborate with the UK team to prepare the dummy report for external auditor review.
• Finalize the annual report for signing off in Q1 2025.
• Act as a senior member of the team, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting.

To be successful in this role the candidate should have a good combination of IFRS and finance knowledge, with an understanding of reporting applications, such as SAP BPC. You should be experienced with annual report processes and external auditors within large international corporations.
The candidate will join the Consolidation & Reporting team, which consists of 8 financial controllers and 2 system administrators. The team is responsible for consolidation and external reporting, maintenance of consolidation software, and ensuring IFRS norms and guidelines across the group. The candidate will report to the Director of Consolidation & Reporting and will cooperate with FP&A and Accounting teams in various countries, and Regulatory Reporting, and Risk departments.

• Education/Background: RA or RC qualification preferred
• Experience: Experience with annual report processes and external auditors in large international corporations and IFRS
• Technical skills: SAP BPC is a plus
• Skills: Team player and pragmatic approach to challenges.

• Start Date: Ideally a.s.a.p., but flexible
• Term: Until the release of the 2024 financial statements in 2025
• Hybrid-way-of-working: 60% office, 40% remote.
