Security Consultant

As a Security Consultant, you help clients improve their security. Together with the client, you determine where improvements will have the greatest impact and which ones to make. You conduct audits and risk assessments, help develop policies, and advise on technical solutions that support security processes.
You’re on the road a lot, visiting various clients at different locations. It may sound like a cliché, but no two days are the same, especially with clients in very diverse industries. This means that one day you’ll be focused mainly on processes and audits, while the next you’ll be implementing security solutions. You can plan your own work week, so there’s plenty of variety, and you’ll keep expanding your own expertise through the different tasks.
Maintaining contact with your clients and making sure appointments with them are scheduled, together with the planning department.
Interacting with clients to determine their needs and advise on possible solutions.
Monitoring and maintaining ISO27001 certifications, conducting internal audits, and advising on the best way to implement controls.
Implementing security solutions and overseeing implementations by our partners.
Conducting technical security audits and assessing security architecture.

A bachelor’s degree or demonstrably equivalent level of work and thinking.
At least 4 years of experience in a technical IT role
Your profile shows an affinity for information security and cybersecurity.
Experience with ISO 27001 management systems (a plus).
You have up-to-date knowledge and skills in information security and have always kept them current.
You’re analytical, have a critical eye, are solution-oriented, and have strong communication skills.
You’re also motivated to learn new things.
