Our client has been developing and managing a large-scale application for more than 20 years, used daily for payroll processing and HR administration. The system runs continuously, making reliability essential. At the same time, the software is gradually being modernized to .NET Core and Azure, while several acquired packages are being integrated into one future-proof platform.
You will therefore not be working on a temporary project, but on an ongoing product where you will have genuine technical responsibility and impact.
The team
You will be part of a small, friendly and hands-on team of 5–6 professionals, including data engineers, who work closely together on the development and modernization of the platform. It is a down-to-earth environment with short communication lines and plenty of room to take ownership. The company is also looking to further expand its international presence and operates from several locations across the Netherlands.
What will you do?
Develop and maintain backend functionality in C# (.NET / .NET Core)
Build APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
Integrate different applications and data sources into one platform
Refactor and modernize existing code (legacy + new)
Contribute to Azure migrations, CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
Work together in a small and committed development team
What do you bring?
Experience with C# and the Microsoft ecosystem
Experience with APIs and system integrations
Comfortable working with existing codebases as well as modernization projects
Experience with MSSQL is a plus
Experience with Azure / CI/CD / DevOps is a plus
Medior or senior level

Salary indication: €3,500 – €5,500 gross per month, excluding 8% holiday allowance
