This engineer is a proactive problem-solver with ownership over performance challenges. The role involves tackling performance issues within distributed systems, database internals, mathematical optimization solvers, GNNs, GraphRAG and other GenAI technologies.
Build advanced profiling and observability infrastructure. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using profiling tools and tracing. Contribute to design reviews to foster a performance-centric engineering culture. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver customer-facing results.
Experience with distributed tracing and observability tools such as Datadog, Honeycomb, or LogicMonitor. Deep understanding of distributed system architecture, with a focus on data-intensive applications. Primary languages used: Python and Go.
