Deze overheidsorganisatie is een van de bekendste en belangrijkste in Nederland. Op dit moment zijn zij hard bezig met de vernieuwing van hun interne systemen, waar de veiligheid van miljoenen Nederlanders vanaf hangt.
Omdat dit dus impact heeft op al deze Nederlanders, is het nodig dat deze verouderde systemen worden vervangen voor een modern platform. Dit platform zal zo’n 50.000 eindgebruikers hebben en het is dus belangrijk dat dit goed draait. Dit is waar jij als test automation engineer komt kijken!
Als test automation engineer kom je terecht in een hecht DevOps team dat zich focust op de (door)ontwikkeling van bestaande systemen binnen de organisatie. Jouw rol binnen dit team is voornamelijk om geautomatiseerde testen te maken en aan te passen. Daarnaast draag jij jouw kennis van testautomatisering over op andere teamgenoten. Zo leren jullie van elkaar.
Waar ben jij als test automation engineer dan precies verantwoordelijk voor? Op een dagelijkse basis zal jij je bezighouden met het opstellen van de teststrategie, de geautomatiseerde testscrips en testdata. Daarbij controleer jij de testresultaten en stuurt bij waar dit nodig is. Waar jij verbeterpunten ziet geef je advies, en ondersteun jij jouw teamgenoten.
Uiteindelijk zorg jij er in deze rol samen met jouw team voor dat de kwaliteit van het platform optimaal is en de veiligheid van deze miljoenen Nederlanders gewaarborgd wordt.
