As a Programs and Activities Assistant, you help as a volunteer with the preparation, execution, and conclusion of our activities. For example, at children's parties, lessons for schools and events, or activities for visitors. Most activities last 1.5 to 2 hours and start at the visitor center; some are conducted on the grounds surrounding the center, and others in the surrounding (nature) areas or on the beach. As an assistant volunteer, you support the De Helderse Vallei staff member who welcomes and guides the participants. You help, for example, with setting up materials, showing the way, or other support tasks. After the activity, you help with tidying up and cleaning used materials. Enthusiasm and communication skills are most important for this position!
