About the role

You will be part of the ambitious National Heat Participation (NDW) team and will also be part of the team of five Business Analysts within EBN. In this way, you will combine the dynamism of the business with the strength of a professional network.

As Financial Business Analyst You will provide financial guidance for the development of regional heating companies. You will draw up and assess business cases, investment proposals and financial models, and translate these into incisive recommendations for senior management, the Board of Directors and shareholders.

You’ll be working at the heart of the energy transition, within the Business Unit National Heat Participation (NDW). There, you will establish a financial framework, underpin strategic choices and ensure that investment decisions are clear, feasible and future-proof.

In practical terms, you analyse opportunities in the heating market, assess investments from a financial perspective and clarify how choices impact returns, risk, financing and long-term value. You are therefore the financial conscience of NDW and a strong sparring partner for the business.

You’ll liaise with project teams, management, local authorities, network operators, investors and other public and private partners. Within this landscape, you’ll safeguard EBN’s financial interests and make a direct contribution to the development, acquisition or investment in heating companies.
