Do you enjoy working with your hands, do you find technology and machines interesting, and do you want to learn a trade that will take you a long way? Then you do not need to have worked as an operator before. We will train you, in the place where you fit best. We decide that together along the way.
We are Thermaflex, based in Waalwijk: an international company with a down-to-earth Brabant culture. From our factory we make smart insulation solutions that are used worldwide in homes, hospitals, offices and industry. We operate in more than 45 countries, but you still get your own coffee from the machine. Our colleagues consciously choose to work here, and you notice that in the atmosphere on the shop floor. How will you make an impact?
As an Operator, you make sure that machines, materials and production lines are ready for smooth production. You work closely with the Process Operator and help keep production safe, tidy and efficient. You may end up in the Prefab department or as a machine operator. We will look together at what suits you best.
How do you do that?
You help start up, change over and prepare machines and production lines.
You make sure raw materials, supplies and tools are available on time.
You support the Process Operator during the production process.
You carry out checks on quality, cleanliness and safety on the shop floor.
You notice malfunctions or deviations and report them promptly.
You keep your work environment clean, safe and organized.
You contribute ideas for improvements on the shop floor.
What makes you our new colleague?
You do not have to be an experienced specialist to fit in here. What matters more to us is that you have technical aptitude, that you enjoy working with machines and that you get energy from a production environment where teamwork comes first. You will learn the rest here, from colleagues who have been doing the job for years.
We are looking for someone who likes to roll up their sleeves, keeps an overview on the shop floor and works with colleagues to keep the production process running smoothly. You are practical, you work accurately and you find it important to work safely and tidily.

You enjoy working with your hands and have an affinity for technology and machinery.
You are eager to learn and want to develop yourself in a technical environment.
You work tidily and safely, and keep an overview while you work.
You work well in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Experience in a production environment is an advantage, but really not a requirement.
A technical education or relevant hands-on experience is a plus.
You are open to working in a 3-shift rotation or in day shift, depending on the department you join.

A salary between €2,600 and €3,000 gross per month.
A 25% shift allowance on top of your base salary when you work in shifts.

Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.
