ARMStaffing is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care (Part Time Nights) in Penn Yan, New York.
This is a 13-week contract position.
Part Time Nights (2x8s/3x8s), every other weekend, holiday 3x8.0
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. They will work primarily in a long-term care setting, focusing on meeting the individualized needs of adult and geriatric patients as outlined in their plan of care.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and nutritional needs.
Maintain a safe environment and adhere to safety protocols, including answering call lights and alarms promptly.
Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records per protocol.
Support residents' rehabilitative needs, including mobility exercises and proper positioning.
Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse promptly.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations regarding bloodborne pathogens.
One (1) year of experience in long-term care (LTC) or as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
Valid New York LPN Licensure is required.
BLS (AHA or RQI specifically) certification is required.
