This is what you will do
The return logistics for the Netherlands’ largest supermarket, Albert Heijn, are processed in Pijnacker. Approximately 300 trucks are handled here daily. As an (aspiring) Teamleader Logistics, you will be responsible for achieving the set goals and effectively deploying the team. Are things not going as planned? Then you know how to keep a cool head and discuss with management and your team how processes can be improved.
You will spend a large part of your time managing on the floor and chip in with the operation yourself where necessary. In doing so, you lead by example and are the main point of contact for problems on the shop floor. You also ensure that employees are deployed flexibly, so that different departments can support each other when needed. We offer you the right guidance to grow into this role.

Your tasks as a Teamleader Logistics

You ensure a safe working environment and supervise this.
You learn to run a shift independently and distribute tasks and work instructions.
You monitor the execution and guarantee progress.
You support the supervisor and replace them (eventually) during their absence.
You identify, prevent, and resolve machine malfunctions.
You ensure the receipt, cleaning, sorting, storage, and dispatch of products.
You work in a dynamic and multicultural team.

To successfully make the step to Teamleader at Kuehne+Nagel in Pijnacker, your personality is decisive for us. We are not looking for a ticked-off resume with management positions, but a strong personality, natural leadership (you naturally take the lead quickly), and a hands-on mentality.

Additionally, you bring the following

MBO (vocational) working and thinking level.
The absolute ambition and drive to take a step into management.
Work experience in a logistics or production environment (experience with technical installations or automated processes is a major plus).
You speak and understand both Dutch and English.
You are available for a 3-shift rotation.

Furthermore, you can count on

A gross monthly salary between €2,800.00 and €3,200.00 (depending on your current experience).
Shift allowances per shift: evening allowance 35%, night allowance 45%, Saturday and Sunday allowances 50% and 100%.
A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
27.5 vacation days per year.
Collective discount on health insurance via CZ.
An independent and responsible position within a growing warehouse operation.
