About the Role
Lainfra is seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to support our growing telecommunications infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks across residential and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables (FTTH / FTTO)
- Perform cable blowing and underground cabling operations
- Conduct network maintenance and fault diagnostics
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Prepare technical documentation and project reports
Requirements
- Proven experience in fiber optic installation and splicing
- Familiarity with telecom infrastructure standards
- Ability to read technical drawings and network diagrams
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- VCA certification
- Experience with OTDR testing equipment
- Knowledge of Dutch telecom regulations
