ProfiNRG is one of the leading and most successful (solar) energy companies in the Netherlands, based in Utrecht. We have been active in the development, sale, installation and maintenance of large-scale solar energy systems for over 10 years. We build large-scale solar parks and design and supply integrated sustainable energy solutions comprising, amongst other things, EV (Electric Vehicle) charging solutions, batteries, solar panels and energy management solutions. We operate in the Benelux, France, Germany, the UK and Scandinavia.
Due to our international growth ambitions, we are looking for an experienced Solar and BESS Project Manager.

As a Solar and BESS Project Manager, you’ll ensure our projects run smoothly from start to finish: you’ll oversee the technical aspects, safety, planning and budget. On average, you’ll visit projects in the Netherlands and/or abroad twice a month. You are the linchpin of the project, ensuring that everything runs smoothly – technically, organisationally and financially – and act as the link between the client, the team and the implementation.
You will be responsible for the implementation of complex, large-scale solar energy and BESS projects from start to completion;
Preparing planning and quality procedures and monitoring progress;
You monitor the budget and are responsible for the financial result;
You will manage engineering and site managers;
Ensuring projects demonstrably meet contractual obligations;
Overseeing procurement processes and ensuring proper execution;
Maintaining contact with external consultants, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders;
Maintaining control over technical, safety, planning, quality, and financial aspects throughout the process;
Visiting (international) project sites, supervising on-site activities, and taking corrective actions where necessary;
Actively contributing to process improvement and efficiency.

You work from our headquarters in Utrecht and are willing to visit your projects at home or abroad twice a month on average.
You are an entrepreneurial and proactive professional with proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects and contracts. With your international experience and passion for renewable energy, you bring structure, results, and progress — always with an eye for quality and collaboration.

And beyond that you have

at least a higher professional education (HBO) qualification in a technical field: electrical engineering, physics or mechanical engineering would be an advantage;
at least 3 years’ experience of multidisciplinary projects of a highly technical nature; experience with solar or BESS is an advantage;
fluency in Dutch and English; German would be an advantage;
