MH Site Engineer

We are looking for a Marshalling Harbour Site Engineer to support site management and logistics operations on a major offshore wind project. This role involves coordinating day-to-day port activities, monitoring operations, managing contractor interfaces, and ensuring smooth communication between site teams and project stakeholders. The position operates on a shift rota to support 24/7 site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor site operations and ensure activities are carried out in line with approved procedures.
• Maintain daily operational records, progress reports, and time tracking.
• Coordinate load-ins, load-outs, vessel movements, transportation, and storage activities.
• Liaise with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to support efficient harbour operations.
• Attend daily planning meetings, toolbox talks, and handovers.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) culture.
• Identify and escalate site risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Support inspections, quality checks, and logistics coordination for fabrication and remediation works.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in offshore wind, port operations, heavy transport, logistics, or construction environments.
• Experience coordinating large components, heavy lifts, and offshore wind logistics activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and interface coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent English required; Dutch and/or German is beneficial.
• GWO certifications (First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness) are desirable.
